With over 20 years’ experience working in the construction industry, Arch. Abdu-Wahab Nyanzi has had exposure to design and management in the business. Prior to joining JR Consultants where he is the head of the Architectural division, he gained experience and competencies across a number of fields in the construction industry right from architectural design, construction projects management, contract administration interior design, furniture design and property management.
As an architect, he has been sought after to work with some of the most reputable corporations in the country to manage and create workspaces that are alive. He has previously worked with Plan Systems, an architectural firm and later Knight Frank Uganda, the largest real estate company in the country. He later joined Stanbic Bank Uganda, the largest bank in the country where he worked as premises manager till march 2011. Its from there that he joined JR Consultants to start the Architecture division. Experience working with corporate interiors had him design some of the most prestigious spaces in Eco Bank Uganda, Standard Chartered Bank, DFCU Bank Uganda Railways Corporation, and Uganda Development Bank.
He is currently the chairperson of the Marketing and Public Relations Committee of the Architects’ Registration Board, a position he assumed in 2021.
